In today’s high-rise landscape, traditional elevator dispatching often struggles to effectively distribute users to their destinations. DBD placement: The system is designed to consider the placement of each touchscreen and elevator within its programming. When a user input their destination and is assigned an elevator, the system calculates the distance to reach that elevator, ensuring it’s within accessible reach. This eliminates the need to position touchscreens near the elevator bank and allows for better traffic distribution in the lobby. Unlike conventional systems where users wait centrally, unsure which elevator will arrive, in a destination system, individuals naturally gravitate towards their designated elevator.

Customized User Experience: Building managers can customize access permissions for different “from:” combinations, requiring occupants to swipe a card or enter a pin code, with variations based on time and day. Users can also personalize their experience, such as receiving voice announcements for direction, specifying proximity to the call station, or requesting extra time or space due to mobility aids. Occupants can manage their own settings via the touchscreens.

Functioning Hospital:  Hospitals present a challenge because elevators serve various functions: transporting staff, patients, equipment, food, and waste. Emergencies and non-emergencies might use the same elevators. The system can be customized using access cards to prioritize specific individuals and functions. In an emergency, the nearest elevator would automatically resume regular operation after being dispatched for an expedited trip.

Elevator quantity, floors, and occupancy: The system’s effectiveness scales with the number of elevators. It’s suitable for mid- to high-rise buildings, with customization options based on floor size and population.
